E-system for filing complaints for public administration services promoted
Skopje, 23 September 2021 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister Ljupcho Nikolovski, who is in charge of fight against corruption, sustainable development and human resources, and Minister of Information Society and Administration Jeton Shaqiri on Thursday presented the new e-system for filing e-complaints and reports in relation to public administration services.
Starting Friday, people can file online reports involving services or corruption in the public administration. A call center (02 315 0050) will be also opened Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Speaking at a news conference promoting the system, Nikolovski called it “yet another strong ally” in sending a clear political will and in the fight against corruption.
It is necessary, he stressed, to establish the system for efficient and effective procedures to provide services and for prompting institutions to act on time to process citizens’ requests.
The system includes a digital channel for filing complaints involving services and corruption, aimed at improving the efficiency of public institutions, quality of services and of public administration staff.
“Also, the system will improve transparency the state bodies when acting on complaints, allowing communications and the probe to be available to the citizens and legal entities as a way to create public pressure for solving issues,” Nikolovski said.
The e-system will be implemented as a separate module as part of the national e-service portal.
The Ministry of Information Society and Administration is in charge of updating the portal with new service, said Minister Shaqiri speaking alongside Nikolovski.
“Next week, new services for certificates and documents from the penal register will be promoted together with the Ministry of Justice and 26 courts from around the country. It means no more queuing and eliminating chances for corruption,” he stated.
Shaqiri also announced that some dozen new services will be promoted by the end of the year together with the Interior Ministry, Agriculture Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Economy Ministry, etc.
