Skopje, 23 June 2023 (MIA) - The Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) has submitted electricity price bid to the universal electricity supplier EVN Home at EUR 53/MWh for the purpose of covering 100 percent of projected requirements.  

"This price is about 5.35 percent lower than the previous one obtained at EVN Home's last tender (January- June 2023), when ESM's price offered was EUR 56/MWh," EVN Home said in a press release on Friday. 

The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) will further decide on EVN Home's electricity price, which will depend on several input parameters, including the price at which ESM sells EVN Home's electricity, the price of MEPSO Electricity Transmission System Operator, the price of the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO DOOEL), and the price of the Distribution System Operator- Elektrodistribucija.
