Deputy PM Nikoloski meets Tim Reid, CEO of UK Export Finance, in London
- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski met late Wednesday in London with Tim Reid, Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom’s Export Finance Agency.

Skopje, 24 April 2025 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski met late Wednesday in London with Tim Reid, Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom’s Export Finance Agency.
At the meeting, discussion focused on the economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the implementation of capital investments, the Ministry of Transport said in a press release on Thursday.
Nikoloski underscored the government’s plans for infrastructure development and modernization, with a special emphasis on the road and railway networks.
“He noted that the projects outlined in the government’s investment plan not only support domestic economic development but also carry regional importance, offering multiple benefits for the Western Balkan countries,” reads the press release.
They also exchanged information on possible cooperation between the two countries and the support that the Agency could provide within the framework of its national policies.
As stated in the press release, it was emphasized that the United Kingdom is a strategic partner of Macedonia in the country's development, and in that context, policies will be directed toward supporting economic and social development.
The working visit of Deputy Prime Minister Nikoloski continues today in London, with planned meetings including Stephen Doughty, Minister of State for Europe, and Karen Pierce, UK Special Envoy to the Western Balkans.
