Environment Minister Mexhiti meets French Ambassador Baumgartner

Skopje, 4 July 2024 (MIA) – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti met Thursday with French Ambassador Cyrille Baumgartner.
Minister Mexhiti thanked Ambassador Baumgartner for the continuous support that North Macedonia is receiving from France on its path to European Union accession, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning said in a press release.
The Ministry stated that French Ambassador Baumgartner highlighted that the French proposal opens up European prospects for North Macedonia and does not pose any harm to the country.
Additionally, Minister Mexhiti presented the projects planned by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning to Ambassador Baumgartner, reads the press release.
French Ambassador congratulated Minister Mexhiti on his appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the new government and expressed a readiness to work together for the benefit of the country and its citizens.
