Employees of North Macedonia’s Post to stage warning protest
Skopje, 19 October 2022 (MIA) – Employees of the Post of North Macedonia will hold ‘warning’ protests as of Wednesday to obtain payment of the September salary.
President of the Post Union, Boro Veligdenov, told MIA that the protests will take place during the employees’ breaks in all branches of the Post across the country.
“The warning protests will continue in the coming days until we obtain payment of the salary,” Veligdenov said, adding that a general protest in front of the Government is also planned to be held in the coming period.
Veligdenov said they held a meeting with the management of North Macedonia’s Post, and were told that efforts are underway to secure finances and government support is awaited. In the event that payment of the salary is not provided in the meantime, the general protest will be organized by the union next weekend.
