Election campaign for double elections enters second half

Skopje, 28 April 2024 (MIA) - Meetings with citizens and rallies continue on Sunday across several regions of the country, with party leaders, list principals and presidential hopefuls presenting their electoral agendas for the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections. Election participants have just nine days remaining for campaigning.

SDSM’s presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his election campaign, is to meet with the residents of the village Velebrdo and the municipality of Mavrovo-Rostushe.

VMRO-DPMNE’s presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, will also hold meetings with citizens, while the coalition supporting her, led by VMRO-DPMNE, will present the program for the parliamentary elections to the citizens in Mogila, Resen, Demir Hisar, and Bitola.

ZNAM Movement leader Maksim Dimitrievski will hold meetings with citizens in Krushevo, Kichevo, Struga, and Ohrid, while in Shtip, the Levica leader, Dimitar Apasiev, will address a public gathering.

DUI leader Ali Ahmeti will meet with citizens in Struga and Debar, while the leader of the Democratic Movement, Izet Mexhiti, part of the Worth It coalition, will give a statement to the media in Skopje's Chair as part of the election activities.
