Skopje, 18 June 2025 (MIA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has said the first group of Macedonian nationals requesting evacuation from Israel landed safely late Tuesday night at the Skopje airport.
The group includes eight people, four children and four adults, who before being flown to Skopje, boarded a government-owned plane in Egypt after leaving Israel.

In a social media post, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski said the evacuation was successful, noting that our country by executing this operation is one of the first in Europe that organized a safe return of its citizens from the conflict zone in the Middle East.
The Ministry through the diplomatic office in Tel Aviv is in constant contact with the other Macedonian nationals who are in Israel, it said.
