Skopje, 29 August 2023 (MIA) – The delivery of all approved textbooks will be completed on September 1, while the textbooks for sixth graders, which are still in procedure, will be delivered in September, as soon as they pass through all stages of the approval process, said the Ministry of Education and Science in a press release Tuesday.

According to the Ministry, all approved textbooks have been printed and are being delivered to schools. In line with the action plan, the delivery in the southeast region is complete, while currently textbooks are being distributed to schools in Skopje and the municipalities in the north and western parts of the country, said the Ministry.

"The textbooks for sixth graders, which are still in procedure, will be delivered in September, as soon as they pass through all stages of the approval process. In the meantime, auxiliary materials for pupils and guides for the teachers will be made available online," said the Ministry.

The Ministry urged the public to get its information directly from the Ministry instead of from third parties, which, they said, often include centers that have been proven to spread misinformation.
