Skopje, 31 July 2024 (MIA) - Switzerland is continuing the successful cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science aimed at creating a quality educational system. Joint activities will intensify to further strengthen vocational education and expand learning through practice in higher education, concluded Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska and Swiss Ambassador Véronique Hulmann on Wednesday.
Minister Janevska expressed gratitude for the support, especially for the activities within the framework of the Swiss project "Education for Employment" (E4E@mk), which, according to the Ministry of Education and Science "continuously produces quality personnel in secondary education, prepared to be rapidly involved in the work of companies and at the same time successfully proceed to higher education."
"Ambassador Hulmann and Minister Janevska agreed that the positive experiences of secondary vocational education can be transferred to a higher level of education, thus allowing a greater approximation of study programs to the real sector. Janevska also presented additional other priority changes in the education system regarding the curricula and programs, regulating secondary and higher education, as well as strengthening scientific work of academics," the Ministry of Education and Science said in a press release.ssh/ad/
