Skopje, 26 October 2022 (MIA) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Wednesday that a parliamentary majority needed for the constitutional changes would be secured. “We talked about this important topic of constitutional changes at the meeting. I am certain that the people in North Macedonia will secure the majority and vote in favor of the constitutional revision. You have achieved a lot, you were successful in making progress and I am certain that you will find compelling arguments so that everyone understands they are responsible for the country to move forward. I call on all politicians to realize the dream of the young people who want to be part of the EU,” von der Leyen told reporters at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski.
