Durmishi: 4,500 applications submitted so far for Operational Employment Plan

Skopje, 18 June 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Economy and Labour, Besar Durmishi, alongside Employment Service Agency director, Selatin Beluli, presented the 2025 Operational Employment Plan at the Municipality of Chair on Wednesday.
Durmishi pointed out that under the Operational Plan, the Government is investing a record EUR 40 million to support employment and self-employment. He noted that over 4,500 applications have been submitted so far, which, according to him, shows great trust and readiness of citizens to take initiative.
"This is not just a plan on paper, but a real opportunity for over 10,000 people to get a decent job, support for their own business or training. According to the latest information I have, over 4,500 applications have been submitted, which shows great trust in the measures and readiness of citizens to take initiative," said Durmishi.
He added that the Operational Plan also includes measures for self-employment, noting that there is great interest among young people under the age of 29 and over 3,000 applications have been received.
