DUI’s Ahmeti and Arifi confident of local elections win in Tetovo
Tetovo, 28 September 2021 (MIA) - The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) held Tuesday evening a pre-election rally in Tetovo presenting candidate for mayor Teuta Arifi and candidates for councilors.
Incumbent Mayor Teuta Arifi told the rally that there was no doubt about the winner and that she would win the next term, even though the party has not joined any coalition for the elections.
Listing the achievements as launching public transport, asphalting road to Shipkovica village, and opening kindergartens during COVID-19 pandemic, during her term in office, Arifi said that together with the citizens they can do more together.
The holder of DUI list of councilors in Tetovo Blerim Osmani pointed out that the five party goals, the young staff and the commitment will mean fulfilling the idea of brighter Tetovo.
DUI's leader Ali Ahmeti said the party has never lost its goal in 20 years, adding that he was optimist that as the country joined NATO so it will integrate into the EU.
“I am sure that DUI will win in Tetovo on October 17. Teuta will get a third term,” Ahmeti said addressing Tetovo rally.
