Distinguished Visitors Day to be held within Seven Stars 2022 exercise
Skopje, 6 October 2022 (MIA) – A Distinguished Visitors Day will take place on Thursday within computer-assisted exercise “Seven Stars 2022” which is launched by the South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) Command, stationed in North Macedonia. It will give high level political and military guests an opportunity to watch the performance of the participants in the exercise. Also, a dynamic demonstration of tactical level activities will be conducted in Krivolak training area by SEEBRIG’s affiliated unit from host nation. A Distinguished Visitors Day will be attended by the Deputy Defence Minister Bashkim Hassani, the chair of the SEDM initiative, the military authorities from the General Staff and generals of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, representatives of the Ministries of Defence and the Armed Forces of SEEBRIG member countries, military attachés and other guests. The South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) Command, stationed in North Macedonia, on Sept. 28 launched a computer-assisted exercise “Seven Stars 2022”, which is held every two years and is the main training activity of SEEBRIG. This major exercise, which is conducted every two years, is the main training activity of SEEBRIG, aiming to improve operational capabilities through exercising HQ SEEBRIG and the affiliated units, developing a common understanding of Peace Support Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Operations. More than 200 military and civilian personnel from SEEBRIG Member Nations, augmentees and observers from NRDC-GR, NRDC-T, LITPOLUKR Brigade, CMDR CoE and OSCE practice NATO procedures, demonstrate interoperability and exercise command and control procedures within the HQ SEEBRIG and with the Response Cells being represented by the SEEBRIG affiliated units. All activities are simulated in Army facilities in Veles, through computers, maps and war games, Ministry of Defence said in a press release.
