Skopje, 4 June 2025 (MIA) – Ministry of Finance is working intensively on budget rebalance with negotiations already underway with other ministries are underway, Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska said Wednesday.

Negotiations with the ministries began two days ago, and she added that in about two weeks, they will be able to present more precise figures.

“Budget rebalance should be submitted to Parliament by June 25,” Dimitrieska-Kochoska said.

Asked which areas would face the biggest cuts, she noted that talks with the ministries are still underway, and she’s not in a position to comment yet. On whether the budget projections would stay the same, rise, or fall, her response was: “We won’t be going upward.”
