Skopje, 2 July 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska is paying a working visit to Luxembourg on Wednesday through Friday, to participate in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) Constituency meeting, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release. 

The Republic of North Macedonia, adds the press release, is part of the Dutch constituency, and the Minister of Finance represents the country on the Board of Governors of the World Bank.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Minister will hold bilateral meetings with top officials of the international financial institutions and with finance ministers of the member states of the Constituency.

"The meetings will focus on the current global economic challenges, policies in maintaining macroeconomic stability and accelerating economic growth, as well as support for the reform processes in the Republic of North Macedonia," the press release reads. 

Participation in such meetings is a significant opportunity to promote cooperation with the IMF, the World Bank and other members of the Constituency, as well as to present the macroeconomic policies and reform agenda of the Government.
