Deputy PM Mexhiti meets Hungarian Ambassador Klein
- First Deputy PM and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti met Friday with Hungarian Ambassador András Klein, discussing Hungary's overall support for North Macedonia, both bilaterally and in the process of our country's EU integration.
Skopje, 13 September 2024 (MIA) - First Deputy PM and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti met Friday with Hungarian Ambassador András Klein, discussing Hungary's overall support for North Macedonia, both bilaterally and in the process of our country's EU integration.
Interlocutors agreed that the two governments are closely cooperating in the direction of strengthening bilateral ties and accelerating North Macedonia's EU integration process, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning said in a press release.
Minister Mexhiti stated that Hungary's chairmanship with the Council of Europe, which is one of the main decision-making bodies of the bloc, gives an opportunity to accelerate the EU integration process.
Talks also focused on the Green Agenda and the country's role in the fight against climate change. ssh/ik/
