Deputy PM Grkovska meets new Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer

Skopje, 16 August 2023 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies, Slavica Grkovska, held a meeting Wednesday with the new Austrian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Martin Pammer, during which she voiced her conviction that the friendly bilateral relations will continue to develop in the future.
According to a Government press release, Grkovska voiced gratitude over the support that North Macedonia has received from Austria concerning the Euro-integration reform processes, and the dynamic of development of cooperation between the two countries in several areas.
At the meeting, Grkovska and Pammer also spoke about issues related to the constitutional amendments and other current political topics in the country, including the situation in the judiciary.
“Ambassador Pammer was introduced to the activities led and coordinated by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, with an emphasis on the coordination of the institutions tasked with fighting corruption, strengthening transparency and digital transformation of society. Noting the importance of the policies that Deputy Prime Minister Grkovska is in charge of, Ambassador Pammer voiced readiness to contribute to a successful realization of the initiatives set to be carried out in the coming period,” said the Government.
Deputy Prime Minister Grkovska welcomed the Austrian Ambassador to the country and wished him a successful term.
