Skopje, 24 March 2025 (MIA) - The Deputy Prime Minister for good governance, Arben Fetai, met Monday with the new Italian Ambassador in Skopje, Paolo Palminteri.

During the meeting, Fetai congratulated the Ambassador on his new post and wished him success in his diplomatic mission. He assessed bilateral relations as excellent and thanked for Italy’s support for the integration of the Western Balkans within the European Union.

Fetai also thanked the Ambassador for the aid in treating patients injured in the Kochani nightclub fire.

The Deputy PM and the Ambassador agreed to deepen the mutual partnership, with a special emphasis on the fight against corruption, financial investigations and the seizure of the illegally acquired assets.
