Skopje, 12 September 2024 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister in charge of political system Ljupcho Dimovski met Thursday with the new Ambassador of the European Union, Michalis Rokas, the Government said in a press release.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his new post, Deputy PM Dimovski voiced gratitude for the support of the EU Delegation in the country’s Euro-integrations process.

“In the focus of the open and productive conversation were the Government’s activities in the coming period and the challenges in the acceleration of the process for the beginning of negotiations, as well as rule of law by restoring the citizens’ trust in the judiciary, solving the open issues and further intensifying the economic growth with the planned financial assistance by the European Union,” the Government said.

Interlocutors also discussed new opportunities for an even deeper cooperation with the EU Delegation.
