Deputy PM Bytyqi welcomes Kosovo President Osmani-Sadriu at Blace border crossing

Skopje, 26 April 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for European Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi welcomed Wednesday morning at the Blace border crossing the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, who is paying a two-day visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
Bytyqi expressed hope that the visit will further strengthen the excellent relations between the two countries, and give a positive impulse to further development of overall cooperation.
Deputy PM Bytyqi was accompanied by North Macedonia's Ambassador to Kosovo, Shpresa Jusufi, Ambassador Goce Karajanov, Special Foreign Policy Adviser to President Pendarovski, and Ambassador Kenan Ramadani, head of the MFA's Directorate for Diplomatic Protocol.
Bytyqi is part of President Pendarovski's delegation hosting President Osmani-Sadriu and will participate in the plenary meeting between the delegations of North Macedonia and Kosovo, which will be followed by a joint press conference of the Presidents of the two countries.
As part of the visit, Pendarovski and Osmani-Sadriu will lay wreaths at Goce Delchev's grave in Skopje church of St. Spas.
In addition, Kosovo President Osmani-Sadriu will meet with Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, and will also address a session of North Macedonia's Parliament.
On Thursday, Osmani-Sadriu will visit Tetovo and meet with mayor Bilal Kasami.
