Skopje, 25 July 2023 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs Fatmir Bytyqi met Tuesday with the new head of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (AHK) in North Macedonia, Antje Wandelt.

According to a Government press release, at the meeting Bytyqi noted that North Macedonia is an attractive destination for Gerrman investments and a very important economic partner, while Germany is its main export market.

“At the meeting, Deputy PM Bytyqi voiced gratitude for the trust, with the hope that the cooperation and partnership will continue and strengthen. The head of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in North Macedonia, Antje Wandelt, voiced gratitude for the meeting and said they value the development assistance received by the German companies in North Macedonia. Wandelt noted that the current companies in North Macedonia are developing and, she said, they are especially interested in expanding their investments and supply chains,” said the press release.

Bytyqi and Wandelt also spoke about dual education, concluding that German companies are the main partners for its development, which is showing excellent performances.
