Skopje, 23 February 2024 (MIA) - Additional Deputy Minister of Interior Mitko Bojmacaliev welcomed late Thursday the shipment of 140,000 passport booklets, saying another shipment of 85,000 booklets would arrive very soon.

"This brings the total of delivered passport booklets to 1.734,600," said Deputy Minister Bojmacaliev.

Bojmacaliev urged all citizens to apply for the replacement of their passports, saying ministry services are prepared to provide support in the process of their issuance.

The MoI stands ready to respond to the increased demand, in order to meet the citizens' needs in the process of replacing personal documents, the Ministry said in a press release.
