Skopje, 10 September 2021 (MIA) – Deputy Health Minister Ilir Hasani resigned Friday afternoon after the Tetovo modular covid hospital fire in which 14 people were killed. Hasani posted on Facebook that he is resigning for moral reasons. “In these difficult times for us all, I’m offering my resignation as an act of morality. Despite the fact that I have nothing to do with the procedures for the modular hospital, and although I have nothing to do with the organizational part, resignation is the smallest act I can do at this time, to show respect for the victims, the injured, the public, and myself. There is nothing above dignity,” Hasani wrote.
