Athens, 16 June 2022 (MIA) – I’m here in Ohrid today, at the Prespa Forum Dialogue to reiterate the firm principle of the Greek foreign policy that the future of North Macedonia, the future of the Western Balkans is in the European Union, in the European values, in the common space of law and protection of human rights, Greece’s Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias told Greek reporters upon his arrival at the Prespa Forum Dialogue in Ohrid, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports. In addition to reiterating Greek support to the EU perspective, Dendias stressed that what must be fended off with great effort is any influence of factors that would like to take the region in another, different direction, a direction other than the EU, international law and European values. The Greek Foreign Minister will address on Thursday a forum’s session on “The European Peace Project in the Western Balkans.”
