Skopje, 23 July 2024 (MIA) - The Kingdom of Norway is another positive example of an allied country that in recent years has provided assistance and expert support for the development of defense capacities, thus directly influencing the strengthening of peace, security, and stability in the region and alliance, stated Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski and Ambassador of Norway, Kristin Melsom on Tuesday.

"Misajlovski expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Norway for the cooperation and continued support, the numerous donations for modernization, equipment and strengthening of the Army's capacities, as well as trainings and support in the development of the personnel and Training Centers within the frameworks of the Ministry of Defense," the Ministry said in a press release.

Ambassador Melsom reaffirmed the strong cooperation between the two allied countries, adding that the Kingdom of Norway will continue to contribute to the development of defense capacities and regional initiatives, such as the Balkan Medical Task Force and Public Affairs Regional Center. ssh/ba/
