Debate on green agenda - renewable resources, Macedonian food, European markets
Skopje, 17 November 2022 (MIA) - “Green agenda - renewable resources, Macedonian food, European markets” is the theme of the second of the series of events dedicated to the 2022 EC Report for the Republic of North Macedonia “On the European road: New reforms, new opportunities,” which will take place Thursday in Skopje, hosted by the Deputy PM for European Affairs, Bojan Marichikj. Deputy PM Marichikj is set to deliver an opening address of the event, and debates on Cluster 4 - Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity and Cluster 5 - Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion are planned. Panelists at the first debate include the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning and Coordinator of Cluster 4, Naser Nuredini, Minister of Transport and Communications, Blagoj Bochvarski, mayor of Valandovo municipality and a member of the ZELS Management Board, Pero Kostadinov, Director of the Energy Agency, Dario Nikolovski and Olimpija H. Zaevska, lecturer at the Copenhagen Business School. Panelists of the debate on Cluster 5 - Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion include the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ljupcho Nikolovski, Minister of Local Self-Government Risto Penov, the Director of the IPARD Paying Agency, Nikica Bachovski, the Food and Veterinary Agency Director, Nikolche Babovski, the president of the Rural Development Network, Petar Gjorgievski and Orhideja Kaljoshevska from the Western Balkans Investment Framework.
