Skopje, 21 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 98 new COVID-19 cases after 775 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 79 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. Of the new cases, 68 were registered in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 6, Kumanovo – 5, Bitola – 5, Veles – 3, Resen – 3, Tetovo – 2, Kavadarci – 2, Shtip – 2, Kratovo – 1 and Berovo – 1. At the moment, 660 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,164,476 tests, recording 342,413 COVID-19 cases and 332,229 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,524.
