COVID-19: 97 new cases, 61 recoveries
Skopje, 15 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 97 new COVID-19 cases after 824 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 61 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 52 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 6, Prilep – 6, Kavadarci – 6, Kumanovo – 5, Shtip – 5, Veles – 4, Ohrid – 2, Kriva Palanka – 2, Tetovo – 1, Strumica – 1, Negotino – 1, Radovish – 1, Debar – 1, Valandovo – 1, Kratovo – 1, Krushevo – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, four patients (aged 80-83) died in period August 16-September 9.
At the moment, 726 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,160,942 tests, recording 341,986 COVID-19 cases and 331,740 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,520.
