COVID-19: 96 new cases, 288 recoveries, one death in past three days
Skopje, 26 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 96 new COVID-19 cases after 962 tests were performed in the past three days (September 24-26). One death was reported in the same period, while 288 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday.  Of the new cases, 66 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kumanovo – 5, Veles – 4, Prilep – 3, Tetovo – 3, Kavadarci – 3, Ohrid – 3, Kichevo – 3, Bitola – 2, Shtip – 2, Gevgelija – 2, and Negotino - 2.  One person (aged 87) from Skopje died in the past three days.  According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, three patients (aged 71-91) died in the period August 29-September 15, 2022.  At the moment, 374 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,166,641 tests, recording 342,615 COVID-19 cases and 332,710 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,531.
