COVID-19: 957 new cases, 616 recoveries, two die
Skopje, 26 July 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 957 new COVID-19 cases after 2,100 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, two deaths were reported, while 616 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. Of the new cases, 487 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 70, Kavadarci – 44, Kumanovo – 40, Ohrid – 39, Prilep – 36, Veles – 32, Tetovo – 31, Resen – 22, Shtip – 18, Kochani – 16, Struga – 13, Strumica – 12, Negotino – 12, Gostivar – 10, Kichevo – 10, Gevgelija – 10, Kriva Palanka – 8, Radovish – 7, Debar – 7, Berovo – 5, Valandovo – 5, Kratovo – 5, Krushevo – 4, Probishtip – 3, Demir Hisar – 3, Makedonski Brod – 3, Bogdanci – 2, Sveti Nikole – 1, Makedonska Kamenica – 1, and Dojran – 1. Two persons died, one from Shtip (aged 71), and one from Struga (91). At the moment, 4,644 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,110,711 tests, recording 324,382 COVID-19 cases and 310,377 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,361.
