COVID-19: 855 new cases, 683 recoveries
Skopje, 29 July 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 855 new COVID-19 cases after 1,602 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 683 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday. Of the new cases, 347 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 77, Kumanovo – 55, Tetovo – 45, Prilep – 43, Kavadarci – 38, Veles – 26, Ohrid – 26, Shtip – 26, Strumica – 25, Kichevo – 22, Gostivar – 17, Sveti Nikole – 14, Kratovo – 11, Kochani – 10, Gevgelija – 9, Negotino – 8, Kriva Palanka – 7, Demir Hisar – 7, Resen – 6, Radovish – 6, Berovo – 6, Valandovo – 6, Struga – 5, Debar – 3, Vinica – 3, Bogdanci – 2, Krushevo – 2, Makedonski Brod – 2, and Demir Kapija – 1. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, two people died in period July 22-27. At the moment, 5,196 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,116,007 tests, recording 327,009 COVID-19 cases and 312,443 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,370.
