Skopje, 13 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia on Monday reported 82 new COVID-19 infections after 1,211 tests conducted in the past 24 hours in labs across the country. Also, eight deaths and 265 recoveries were recorded, the Health Ministry said citing data of the Public Health Institute. Of the new cases, Skopje registered 61. Eight patients died of Covid-related complications in hospital in the past 24 hours, including three in Skopje, aged 56, 80 and 86. At the moment, 5,539 cases are active nationwide, including 2,714 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,503,941 tests, recording 219,490 COVID-19 cases and 206,211 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,740.
