COVID-19: 81 new cases, 124 recoveries
Skopje, 20 June 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 81 new COVID-19 cases after 1,972 tests were performed in the past three days (June 17-19), no deaths were reported, while 124 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday. Of the new cases, 53 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 5, Prilep – 5, Veles – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Tetovo – 2, Struga – 2, Kavadarci – 1, Gostivar – 1, Ohrid – 1, Shtip – 1, Strumica – 1, Kichevo – 1, Vinica – 1, Bogdanci – 1, and Krushevo – 1. At the moment, 351 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,072,171 tests, recording 312,960 COVID-19 cases and 303,287 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,322.
