COVID-19: 80 new cases, 118 recoveries, two fatalities
Skopje, 17 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 80 new COVID-19 infections after 953 tests were conducted over the past three days (October 14-16), two deaths were reported, while 118 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
Of the new cases, 60 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 8, Kumanovo – 5, Bitola – 2, Ohrid – 2, Tetovo – 2, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
Two patients passed away, one from Skopje (aged 80) and one from Gostivar (70).
There are 288 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,177,159 tests, recording 343,665 COVID-19 cases and 333,824 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,553.
