Skopje, 20 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 75 new COVID-19 cases after 887 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 99 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. Of the new cases, 38 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kumanovo – 8, Veles – 6, Kavadarci – 4, Ohrid – 3, Kichevo – 3, Gevgelija - 3, Bitola – 2, Prilep – 2, Shtip – 2, Negotino – 1, Radovish – 1, Kriva Palanka – 1, and Berovo – 1. At the moment, 649 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,163,701 tests, recording 342,323 COVID-19 cases and 332,150 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,524.
