COVID-19: 693 new cases and two deaths in past 24 hours
Skopje, 10 August 2022 (MIA) - North Macedonia reported on Wednesday 693 new COVID-19 infections, including 170 reinfections, after a total of 1,480 tests conducted in the past 24 hours. Also, the Public Health Institute reported 826 recoveries and two deaths, said the Health Ministry.
Skopje reported 255 new cases out of the confirmed infections.
Also, two 77-year-old persons died of Covid-related complications in hospital in the past 24 hours, said the press release.
At the moment, 4,243 cases are active nationwide, including 1,645 in the capital Skopje.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,131,728 tests, recording 333,360 COVID-19 cases and 319,717 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,400.
