COVID-19: 656 new cases, 273 patients recover, 13 die
Skopje, 10 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 656 new COVID-19 infections after 3,597 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, 13 deaths and 273 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday. Of the new cases, 257 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola-38, Kumanovo-34, Prilep-31, Shtip-30, Kavadarci-27, Tetovo-26, Veles-24, Kochani-23, Ohrid-18, Kriva Palanka-18, Strumica-13, Negotino-13, Delchevo-13, Gevgelija-12, Kratovo-11, Radovish-10, Resen-8, Probishtip-8, Demir Hisar-8, Struga-6, Kichevo-4, Sveti Nikole-4, Krushevo-4, Makedonska Kamenica-4, Berovo-3, Vinica-3, Bogdanci-3, Demir Kapija-3. Of the 13 fatalities, four were registered in Skopje (aged 67, 76, 80 and 86), two in Kumanovo (65 and 70), one in Gevgelija (71), one in Kavadarci (84), one in Ohrid (76), one in Prilep (71), one in Radovish (70), one in Sveti Nikole (83) and one in Shtip (74). Eight more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated from October 31 through November 8. At the moment, 8,368 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,415,992 tests, recording 207,566 COVID-19 cases and 191,922 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,276.
