COVID-19: 65 new cases, 61 recoveries, one death in past 24 hours
Skopje, 5 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia on Wednesday reported 65 new COVID-19 infections, including 14 reinfections, after 695 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, said the Health Ministry, adding there was one death in the same period.
According to Public Health Institute data, 61 recoveries were also recorded.
Of the new cases, Skopje registered 47, where the number of active cases is 316. There are 447 active cases recorded nationwide.
One patient from Kavadarci (aged 77) died in the past 24 hours. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, two patients passed away, including one from Skopje (aged 86) and one from Bitola (aged 65), in the period September 15 – 28.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,165,557 tests, recording 343,208 COVID-19 cases and 333,219 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,542.
