COVID-19: 572 new cases, 694 patients recover, 30 die
Skopje, 14 September 2021 (MIA) – Over the past 24 hours, North Macedonia registered 572 new COVID-19 cases from 4,511 tests done in the country, 694 patients recovered and 30 people died from coronavirus-related complications, health authorities said on Tuesday. New cases were recorded in Skopje-287, Kumanovo-58, Kavadarci-24, Tetovo-21, Kichevo-21, Veles-19, Gostivar-15, Prilep-14, Bitola-11, Kochani-11, Radovish-11, Strumica-10, Ohrid-9, Struga-9, Shtip-8, Sveti Nikole-8, Gevgelija-7, Negotino-4, Berovo-4, Valandovo-4, Resen-3, Probishtip-3, Vinica-2, Kratovo-2, Kriva Palanka-1, Delchevo-1, Bogdanci-1, Makedonski Brod-1, Demir Hisar-1, Pehchevo-1, Makedonska Kamenica-1. Of the 30 people who died from coronavirus-related complications, 10 died in Skopje (aged 43, 59, 63, 67, 67, 70, 74, 74, 76 and 88), four in Gostivar (51, 57, 71 and 77), two in Kumanovo (78 and 82), two in Tetovo (58 and 75), two in Kavadarci (66 and 69), one in Veles (77), one in Strumica (82), one in Shtip (83), one in Negotino (98), one in Sveti Nikole (66), one in Radovish (68), one in Berovo (69), one in Vinica (77), one in Demir Kapija (25) and one in Pehchevo (78). At the moment, 12,893 cases are active nationwide, of which 5,728 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, a total of 1,229,600 tests have been made, recording 184,277 COVID-19 cases and 165,077 recoveries. The death toll has reached 6,307.
