COVID-19: 57 new cases, 9 recoveries, one death
Skopje, 18 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 57 new COVID-19 infections after 808 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, one death was reported, while 9 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, 38 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 5, Prilep – 5, Shtip – 4, Kavadarci – 1, Veles – 1, Struga – 1, Negotino – 1 and Krushevo – 1.
One patient from Struga (aged 86) passed away.
There are 335 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,177,967 tests, recording 343,722 COVID-19 cases and 333,833 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,554.
