COVID-19: 528 new cases and 7 deaths in past 24 hours
Skopje, 13 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia on Saturday recorded 528 new COVID-19 infections, including 200 in Skopje, after 4,323 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. Also, seven deaths were reported in the past 24 hours including four in Skopje. Sveti Nikole reported two deaths and one death was registered in Kavadarci. The patients, in their 60s and 70s, died in hospital, said the Health Ministry. Also, according to the registry of coronavirus-related deaths, six people died between Oct. 27 and Nov. 8, aged from 59 to 86, in Skopje, Tetovo, Kichevo and Radovish. Of those, three died at home and the other three in hospital. Citing data from the Public Health Institute, the Health Ministry said 327 recovered patients were registered in the past 24 hours. At the moment, 8,600 cases are active nationwide, including 3,859 in the capital Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,426,274 tests, recording 208,992 COVID-19 cases and 193,072 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,320.
