COVID-19: 511 new cases, no deaths in past 24 hours 
Skopje, 12 July 2022 (MIA) - North Macedonia on Tuesday registered 511 new COVID-19 infections after a total of 1,489 tests conducted in the past 24 hours. Of those, 129 are registered as reinfections. No deaths were reported in the same time period, said the Health Ministry. Also, 264 recoveries were reported. Of the new cases, Skopje registered 276, where there are 1,045 active cases. "According to the Covid-related fatalities recorded in the e-registry, two people in Skopje, aged 72 and 88, died on July 5, 2022," said the press release. At the moment, 1,889 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,092,192 tests, recording 316,729 COVID-19 cases and 305,503 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,337.
