COVID-19: 495 new cases, 308 patients recover, 13 die
Skopje, 30 October 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 495 new COVID-19 infections after 4,145 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, 13 deaths and 308 recoveries were registered, the Health Ministry said on Saturday. Of the new cases, 228 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kavadarci – 30, Veles – 27, Bitola – 24, Shtip – 21, Prilep – 20, Kumanovo – 17, Kriva Palanka – 13, Kochani – 12, Tetovo – 11, Kichevo, Gevgelija and Berovo – 10 each, Negotino – 7, Ohrid and Valandovo – 6 each, Probishtip – 5, Gostivar, Sveti Nikole, Radovish and Resen – 4 each, Struga, Delchevo and Demir Hisar –  3 each, Strumica, Vinica, Kratovo, Bogdanci and Dojran –  2 each, Krushevo, Makedonska Kamenica and Pehchevo –  1 each. Of the 13 fatalities, three were registered in Skopje (aged 63, 81 and 86), two in Kumanovo (63 and 74) and one each in Prilep (98), Bitola (61), Veles (36), Kavadarci (73), Ohrid (69), Kochani (69), Probishtip (63) and Kriva Palanka (73). At the moment, 6,750 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,382,675 tests, recording 202,203 COVID-19 cases and 188,332 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,121.
