COVID-19: 44 new cases, 81 recoveries
Skopje, 20 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 44 new COVID-19 infections after 564 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, 81 patients recovered and no deaths were reported, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 32 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 4, Kavadarci – 4, Bitola – 3, and Kratovo – 1.
According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, three patients passed away, including two from Skopje and one from Kavadarci, in the period of October 3-18.
There are 281 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,179,129 tests, recording 343,800 COVID-19 cases and 333,960 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,559.
