COVID-19: 44 new cases, 47 recoveries
Skopje, 28 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 44 new COVID-19 infections after 543 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, 47 patients recovered and no deaths were reported, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
Of the new cases, 29 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 2, Prilep – 2, Ohrid – 2, Gostivar – 2, Kochani – 2, Strumica – 1, Shtip – 1, Radovish – 1, Berovo – 1, and Vinica – 1.
There are 262 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,182,473 tests, recording 344,075 COVID-19 cases and 334,249 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,564.
