COVID-19: 434 new cases, 421 patients recover, 12 die
Skopje, 26 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 434 new COVID-19 infections after 3,026 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 19 deaths, including seven registered via the MyAppointment e-service, and 421 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
Of the new cases, 195 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 41, Prilep – 26, Kavadarci – 20, Kumanovo – 17, Ohrid and Berovo – 12 each, Tetovo and Veles – 11 each, Shtio – 9, Kocahani – 8, Sveti Nikole, Kriva Palanka, Delchevo and Demir Hisar –7 each, Gevgelija – 6, Strumica, Resen and Valandovo – 5 each, Radovish and Vinica –4 each, Kratovo and Makedonska Kamenica – 3 each, Negotino – 2, Kichevo, Debar, Probishtip, Bogdanci, Krushevo, Makedonski Brod and Demir Kapija – 1 each.
12 deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including four in Skopje (aged 46, 65, 79 and 79), two in Bitola (83 and 84) and one each in Veles (73), Kavadarci (72), Kochani (67), Delchevo (70), Krushevo (69) and Radovish (76).
Seven more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated Oct. 15-Nov. 20.
At the moment, 8,283 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,461,757 tests, recording 214,213 COVID-19 cases and 198,419 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,511.
