COVID-19: 377 new cases, 307 patients recover, 12 die
Skopje, 11 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 377 new COVID-19 infections after 3,608 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 12 deaths and 307 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Saturday. Of the new cases, 164 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kavadarci – 31, Prilep – 30, Bitola – 24, Ohrid – 16, Veles – 15, Kumanovo – 11, Shtip – 10, Kichevo – 9, Tetovo – 7, Strumica – 6, Kriva Palanka – 6, Radovish – 5, Valandovo – 5, Gostivar – 4, Gevgelija – 4, Negotino – 4, Delchevo – 4, Bogdanci – 4, Sveti Nikole – 3, Resen – 3, Kratovo – 3, Kochani – 2, Makedonski Brod – 2, Makedonska Kamenica – 2, Struga – 1, Probishtip – 1, Krushevo – 1. 12 deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including five in Skopje (aged 63, 82, 85, 85 and 87) and one each in Kumanovo (61), Ohrid (58), Bitola (67), Shtip (66), Strumica (62), Kriva Palanka (78) and Vinica (69). One more death was recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated Dec. 6, 2021. At the moment, 5,677 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,500,087 tests, recording 219,100 COVID-19 cases and 205,700 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,723.
