COVID-19: 353 new cases, 450 patients recover, 10 die
Skopje, 14 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 353 new COVID-19 infections after 3,162 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 10 deaths and 450 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday. Of the new cases, 174 were registered in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 42, Bitola – 27, Kavadarci – 22, Kumanovo – 13, Veles – 13, Valandovo – 9, Ohrid – 8, Kichevo – 6, Gevgelija – 6, Negotino – 6, Tetovo – 5, Kochani – 4, Sveti Nikole – 3, Radovish – 3, Shtip – 2, Strumica – 2, Kriva Palanka – 2, Bogdanci – 2, Gostivar – 1, Delchevo – 1, Kratovo – 1, Makedonska Kamenica – 1. Ten deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including three in Skopje (aged 67, 87 and 91), one in Kavadarci (62), one in Kochani (69), one in Kumanovo (75), one in Strumica (78), one in Tetovo (78), one in Veles (80), and one in Ohrid (80). Four more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated November 19-December 7. At the moment, 5,428 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,507,103 tests, recording 219,843 COVID-19 cases and 206,661 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,754.
