COVID-19: 342 new cases, 348 patients recover, 7 die
Skopje, 3 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 342 new COVID-19 infections after 2,349 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, seven deaths and 348 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. Of the new cases, 135 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 35, Veles - 17, Prilep, Kavadarci and Berovo – 16 each, Ohrid - 15, Kumanovo - 13, Strumica - 10, Shtip - 9, Kochano and Gevgelija – 8 each, Sveti Nikole and Resen – 6 each, Radovish and Valandovo – 5 each, Delchevo - 4, Gostivar, Kichevo, Negotino, Kriva Palanka, Probishtip and Kratovo – 2 each, Tetovo, Struga, Vinica, Demir Hisar, Demir Kapija and Dojran – 1 each. Seven deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including three in Skopje (aged 67, 74 and 79), two in Bitola (65 and 87) and two in Ohrid (65 and 77). At the moment, 8,037 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,478,883 tests, recording 216,670 COVID-19 cases and 201,017 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,616.
