COVID-19: 34 new cases, 264 recoveries, three deaths
Skopje, 9 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 34 new COVID-19 cases after 223 tests were performed in the past 24 hours. No deaths were reported in the same period, while 264 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday.  Of the new cases, 26 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 2, Prilep – 2, Kumanovo – 1, Ohrid – 1, Negotino – 1, and Sveti Nikole – 1.   According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, three patients (aged 79-89) died in the period Aug. 10-29, 2022.  At the moment, 1,032 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,156,878 tests, recording 341,404 COVID-19 cases and 330,866 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,506.
